Academic Activities at School”]

Exhibiting art is not only done by big artists. However, many young artists are now displaying their work through class or school exhibitions. A class or school exhibition is also a study activity to display student work. 

A class/school exhibition is an activity to show the fine art works produced by students during their studies at school to the public. Both within the school environment and outside the school environment. Through an exhibition, a student can introduce their works to the community in the school environment or the general public to be seen, assessed, admired, or criticized. 

Through exhibition activities, students are given the opportunity to evaluate the artworks on display. The exhibition also provides entertainment for the school community and the surrounding community. This activity was carried out to coincide with the 9th grade practical exam activities, which were held on Thursday 16-18 March 2023. This activity was attended by all students from 10 classes IX. This exhibition begins with submission activities, namely the selection of works that are suitable for display. After displaying the work will be appreciated by VII and VIII grade students. The implementation of this activity was held at SMP Negeri 1 Turen, Jln. Panglima Sudirman No. 1A. Turen Regency, Malang.

Before the implementation of the activity, the committee and candidates had 3 days to prepare the exhibition. Starting from the collection of works and assessment by Mr. Budi (as the 9th grade cultural arts teacher). (as the 9th grade cultural arts teacher).
