Malang State University showed its participation as an integrated educational facility by providing space and opportunities for students to prepare themselves before entering the professional world. The MBKM Mandiri Internship Program, also known as internship/work practice, is one of its programs. This MBKM aims to introduce and provide a space for students to learn about the world of work firsthand. Ardha Ulya Ma’rifah took part in this program by joining KapanLagi.com, an online media agency. Online media, such as Kapanlagi.com, is responsible for providing the most up-to-date and accurate information in real time. She gained a lot of knowledge that is very relevant to the English Literature major during her internship at KapanLagi.com, such as Creative Writing, Essay Writing, Journalism, Film Studies, and Translation.

The internship started on October 4, 2021. The first meeting was then used to introduce the KapanLagi Team and interns. The assignments given during the first two weeks of the internship are still based on training or getting used to the online work environment. The task given is in the form of translating 2 foreign song lyrics and 1 thematic article every day which must be uploaded to the Web Admin CMS Kapanlagi.com. After two weeks, an evaluation was held to assess progress and assign additional tasks for the next month, which included translating five foreign song lyrics and two thematic articles every day. After the sixth week, the number of additional or alternative tasks that can be completed grows. Every week, interns are tasked with creating photo news and interactive quizzes. During the internship, Ardha discovered what could be described as the work system used by KapanLagi.com. Articles and news photos done by the interns are continued in the form of Instagram posts and videos. If the news is in the form of photo news, it will be continued by turning it into a post that is uploaded on the Instagram feed according to the category or theme in question. This also applies if a news in the form of News is viral or is being discussed, the news will be converted into an interactive video.
