Workshop “Self Reflection” Student Service Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang: Mentally Prepare Students to Face the Industrial World

The Student Service of the Faculty of Letters (DMF), the State University of Malang, held a workshop on “Self-Reflection” as part of the “Atma Sneha” event today. Dewi Fatmasari Edy, S.Psi., M.A., an experienced psychologist in the field of mental health, guided the activity.
This workshop aims to raise students’ awareness about the importance of mental health and prepare them to face challenges in the industrial world after graduation. In this interactive session, participants were invited to reflect on themselves and understand the feelings, thoughts, and behaviors that can affect their well-being.
Dewi Fatmasari Edy opened the event by explaining the importance of self-reflection as a tool for recognizing personal strengths and weaknesses. Using various techniques, including mindfulness exercises and group discussions, participants were invited to share their experiences and support each other.
This activity received an overwhelmingly positive response from students. Many participants expressed gratitude and claimed to feel more prepared to face academic pressures and challenges in the future. Their feedback reassures us that such initiatives are beneficial and necessary.
By organizing this workshop, the DMF of the Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang, has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to supporting students’ mental health and personal development. This commitment creates a healthier and more productive academic environment, where students can thrive.
