The 6th International Conference on Art, Design, Education and Cultural Studies (ICA DECS 2024) organized by the Faculty of Letters, Universitas Negeri Malang, on 25 July 2024, focuses on the theme “Creative Synergy between Technology & Tradition in Art, Design and Education”. One of the main objectives of this event is to encourage advocacy for improving the quality of education at all levels. This activity emphasizes the importance of integrating modern technology with tradition in art and design education.

Through a session presented by Prof. Dr. Badrul Isa from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia, participants will gain insights into how technology can be a bridge between the past and the future, and how this can enrich and improve the quality of education. Prof. Badrul Isa will explore how new tools and methodologies can broaden the scope of learning, facilitate better access, and support the development of creative skills relevant in the digital era.

Advocacy for quality education at this event includes discussions on innovation in curriculum, adaptive teaching methods, and the use of technology to achieve academic excellence. By addressing these issues, ICA DECS 2024 is committed to promoting better and more inclusive education practices, which will ultimately improve education outcomes globally. The event will not only provide a platform for sharing knowledge, but also inspire concrete actions to improve the quality of education worldwide.
