The 6th International Conference on Art, Design, Education, and Cultural Studies held on July 25, 2024 at Universitas Negeri Malang With the theme “Creative Synergy between Technology & Tradition in Art, Design, and Education,” this event aims to strengthen cooperation between various parties to achieve sustainable development goals. One of the main speakers, Prof. Dr. Badrul Isa from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia, will present the topic of “Technology as a Bridge between the Past and the Future in Art and Design Education.”

Through this presentation, the conference focuses on how international and cross-disciplinary partnerships can pave the way for innovation in art and design education, as well as integrating technology with traditional values. By involving thinkers, academics, and practitioners from various backgrounds, ICA DECS 2024 strengthens collaboration that is very important to achieve sustainable development goals. This cooperation not only supports progress in art and design but also strengthens the global network needed to face global challenges.

Through this synergy, it is hoped that creative and sustainable solutions will be created that can inspire similar practices in various parts of the world. This conference is a strategic platform to build solid partnerships, broaden the horizon of knowledge, and advance the global agenda towards achieving sustainable development goals with an inclusive and innovative approach.
