The Fine Arts Education Study Program, State University of Malang (UM) uses the Imade Gayem Ubud Gallery as one of the venues for implementing the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM). This collaboration exploration activity was carried out on Wednesday, July 26 2024 at Art Kenyem, Imade Kenyem Art Gallery at Jalan Rurung Dauh Studio No. 123 Sayan, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali.

This collaboration is part of the UM Fine Arts Education Study Program’s efforts to provide a broader and deeper learning experience for its students. Through MBKM, students will get the opportunity to study outside campus and apply the knowledge they have learned in the real world.

Imade Gayem Ubud Gallery is one of the famous art galleries in Ubud, Bali. This gallery exhibits works of fine art from various Balinese and Indonesian artists. This gallery is also a venue for various fine arts activities, such as exhibitions, workshops and seminars.

By collaborating with the Imade Gayem Ubud Gallery, the UM Fine Arts Education Study Program hopes to provide opportunities for students to: See firsthand fine art works from professional artists, Learn techniques and processes, create fine art works, Participate in various fine arts activities, Developing networks with artists and other arts practitioners

It is hoped that this collaboration can help UM Fine Arts Education Study Program students to become skilled and professional artists. This is in line with the vision and mission of the UM Fine Arts Education Study Program to produce graduates who are able to compete in the world of work and contribute to the progress of fine arts in Indonesia.
