The Fine Arts Education Study Program, State University of Malang (UM) collaborates with the Imade Gayem Ubud Art Gallery in order to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) program. This collaboration exploration activity was carried out on Wednesday, July 26 2024 at Art Kenyem, Imade Kenyem Art Gallery, Studio Jalan Rurung Dauh No. 123, Sayan, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali.
This activity was attended by a delegation from the State University of Malang (UM), including the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The hope is that this collaboration can provide benefits for both parties, especially in improving the quality of fine arts education at Malang State University. They hope that this collaboration can open up opportunities for Fine Arts Education Study Program students to study and create in a professional art gallery.
Meanwhile, the owner of the place welcomed the delegation of this collaboration and expressed his readiness to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and MBKM programs in the UM Fine Arts Education Study Program. They are ready to happily accept UM students for internships, workshops and exhibitions in our gallery
Exploration of this collaboration covers several areas, including: Acceptance of UM students for internships at the Imade Gayem Art Gallery, Organizing fine arts workshops for UM students, UM student fine art exhibitions at the Imade Gayem Art Gallery, Joint research on Balinese fine arts
Both parties agreed to follow up on exploring this collaboration immediately. It is hoped that this collaboration can make a positive contribution to the progress of fine arts education in Indonesia.
This collaboration between the UM Fine Arts Education Study Program and the Imade Gayem Art Gallery is a positive step in supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the MBKM program. It is hoped that this collaboration can become a model for collaboration between universities and other art galleries in Indonesia.
