The activity “Facilitator of Driving Schools at the End of School Year Reflection Activity for the First Year 3 Driving School Program” which was held at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo on 28-30 June 2024 by Dr. Wida Rahayuningtyas, S.Pd, M.Pd, a lecturer from the Department of Art and Design, State University of Malang who acted as a facilitator in this activity. Her role is not only as an educator, but also as a leader who can inspire many other women to take an active role in the world of education.
Gender equality in education is very important because education is the foundation for women’s empowerment. With women like Dr. Wida, who plays an active role as a facilitator, creates space for women to show their leadership abilities and influence in the education sector. It also challenges gender stereotypes that often prevent women from achieving leadership positions. Women’s active participation in education also has a significant long-term impact. When women become leaders and facilitators, they not only make a positive contribution to improving the quality of education, but also provide a real example for the younger generation, both men and women, that women have the same abilities and rights to lead and achieve.
In addition, this reflection activity provides a platform for women to share experiences, strategies and innovations in education. Through this collaboration, women can support and empower each other, creating a strong network to achieve the goal of inclusive and quality education. This activity also plays a role in creating an environment that supports gender equality by prioritizing the role of women in decision making and developing educational strategies. Thus, this activity not only supports Quality Education but also significantly supports Gender Equality by encouraging the active participation of women as facilitators and leaders in education.
