Mahrojan Araby UM 2024 Ends Gloriously, Al-Amien University Wins Munadzarah Ilmiyyah!

Malang, 4 July 2024 – State University of Malang (UM) has once again made a proud achievement by successfully holding the 18th Mahrojan Araby. This 3-day event closed with great fanfare at the AVA Building, UM Faculty of Letters, on Sunday (04/07/2024).
The closing of Mahrojan Araby 2024 was attended by the Deputy Dean 1 of the Faculty of Letters, the Head of the Arabic Literature Department, lecturers, the committee, and all participants. This event was enlivened by the announcement of winners from various competition branches.
Here are some of the winners from the main competition branches:
International Level Tilawatil Qur’an:
1st Place: M Zaky Arrosyidi (UM)
2nd Place: Meutya Zein Ummul Khafidza (UB)
3rd place: Nadzirah (UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh)
Ghina’ Araby International Level:
1st Place: Dewi Sartika (Markaz Araby)
2nd Place: Nurdiana P.P. Annuqoyyah Lubangsa Putri
3rd place: Aulia Salsabila (UIN Sunan Ampel)
Munadzarah Ilmiyyah National Level:
1st Place: Al-Amien University
2nd place: El-Kaffah Center
3rd Place: El-Banna STAI Darul Ulum Banyuanyar (Best Speaker: Abdul Barr Nashir Syihab)
National Level Calligraphy:
1st Place: Ahmad Nur Hafidz (UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim)
2nd Place: Purnomo Setiawan (Indonesian Arts Institute Surakarta)
3rd place: Atina Sulha Azizah (UIN Sunan Ampel)
National Level Arabiyyah Khatabah:
1st Place: Afriyandi Pamungkas (Darussalam Gontor University)
2nd Place: M. Shoniful Hadi (Islamic University of Malang)
3rd Place: Ayu Trisnawati (Nurul Jadid University)
In his speech, the Head of the UM Arabic Literature Department, Ustadz Mohammad Ahsanuddin M.Pd., said that the main goal of Mahrojan Araby was not only to find champions, but also to build relationships and provide valuable experience for the participants and committee.
Mahrojan Araby 2024 has successfully become a forum for students to demonstrate their ability to speak Arabic and increase their knowledge of Islam. It is hoped that this event can continue to motivate the younger generation to continue learning and contributing to the development of Arabic language and Islamic culture.

Mahrojan Araby 2024 has left a deep impression on the participants, committee and all parties involved. Hopefully this event can continue to be held in the years to come with more excitement and benefit.
