Ngabubuart 2 in Dragonball: Encouraging Economic Participation Through Creativity and Productivity
On March 28, 2024, Dragonball will be the venue for “Ngabubuart 2”, an initiative that not only celebrates the togetherness of breaking the fast, but also aims to support achievements in the field of economic growth (workshop on stringing bracelets, rings, and necklaces from beads). The main focus of this activity is to encourage participation in productive and creative activities that can open up economic opportunities, especially for local artisans, especially students.
This activity presents a raffle workshop, where participants are invited to learn and develop skills to make rings, bracelets, and necklaces creatively. This workshop not only provided students with practical skills, but also opened up opportunities for them to produce products that can be sold and increase their economic income.
In addition to the workshops, the event also included local band performances that were not only entertaining, but also provided a platform for local talent to showcase their creativity in music. Thus, Ngabubuart 2 is not just an iftar event, but also a platform to promote and support small and medium enterprises and local artisans in developing their businesses.
Active participation in this activity is expected to strengthen the local artisan community, improve their skills, and drive the local economy in a sustainable way. With the support and appreciation of the community, they can directly benefit from their participation in events like Ngabubuart 2.
We invite members of HMD Art and Design and all study programs in the Art and Design department, to join Ngabubuart 2 at Dragonball, provide support to local artisans, and together build a more stable and inclusive economic foundation for a better future.
