Ngabubuart 2: Towards an Inclusive and Sustainable Community

On March 28, 2024, Dragonball will witness “Ngabubuart 2”, an activity aimed at celebrating togetherness in breaking the fast to create an inclusive and sustainable community through cultural activities that strengthen the sense of belonging and togetherness among students.

The breaking of the fast together is not just about fulfilling physical needs, but also about creating a safe and supportive social space for all participants. In this context, it is important to build inclusive neighborhoods and communities, ensure equal access to all basic services, and increase participation in decision-making that affects people’s lives.

Ngabubuart 2 will feature various cultural activities such as a tying workshop, where participants can learn and develop arts and crafts skills. These activities not only strengthen relationships between participants, but also build a sense of belonging to local cultural heritage and diverse traditions. This directly supports SDG 11’s vision of promoting sustainable, inclusive and people-oriented development.

In addition, musical performances from local bands will add life to the event, creating a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for all who attend. Music as a cultural expression can also connect people from different backgrounds and strengthen togetherness in diversity.

Through Ngabubuart 2, we hope to inspire the community to be actively involved in building an inclusive and sustainable environment. By strengthening a sense of community and promoting togetherness through cultural activities, we believe that we can create sustainable positive change for our cities and communities.
