Empowering Education Through Collaborative Research: A Partnership with Latisha Asmaak Syafie from Universiti Teknologi MARA
In a world where education is the cornerstone of progress, research plays a pivotal role in shaping the future. Universitas Negeri Malang is proud to announce two groundbreaking research proposals that aim to enhance the educational landscape. This research team is led by Dr. Suharyadi, M.Pd., with two researchers namely Dr. Ekaning D. Laksmi, M.Pd., M.A., Nova Ariani, M.Ed., a student from our university, namely Siti Mafulah, and an assistant, namely Ahmad Najmi Faris.
We are thrilled to mention that Latisha Asmaak Syafie, a renowned foreign researcher from Universiti Teknologi MARA, is a collaborator in this research. Her expertise and insights will undoubtedly enrich the quality of the research and foster international collaboration.
The first proposal delves into the fascinating world of self-regulated writing strategies. By examining the relationship between these strategies and factors such as gender, interest, and achievement, the research aims to uncover insights that can lead to more personalized and effective teaching methods.
The second proposal takes a closer look at the correlation between student responses in feedback from supervisors and thesis completion. By understanding the affective, cognitive, and behavioral responses, the research seeks to enhance the supervisory process, leading to more successful thesis completions.
These research initiatives align with the SDG of “Quality Education.” By focusing on personalized learning strategies and improving the thesis completion process, the research supports the global commitment to providing inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
The compatibility of this research with the SDG of Quality Education is evident. It not only addresses key educational challenges but also contributes to the broader goal of building a more educated and empowered society.
Universitas Negeri Malang continues to lead the way in educational research, and these proposals are a testament to our commitment to excellence. With the collaboration of esteemed foreign researchers like Latisha Asmaak Syafie, we are not only enhancing our research capabilities but also contributing to global educational goals.
