On April 1, 2023, Saturday, to be precise, the BEM Faculty of Letters and its staff held a work program that improved the SDGs of the Faculty of Letters. This activity is a News Writing Webinar with the theme “News Writing and Publication Strategies for the Young Generation in the Digital Age.” with this activity, it is hoped that it will be able to increase knowledge and insights about excellent and correct news writing, develop interests and talents in the field of Writing, foster students in the concept of skill development, and motivate students to study news writing as a whole and thoroughly. This activity was carried out online through a Zoom meeting held in the AVA hall of the D17 building of the Faculty of Letters, as a lecturer at the Department of Art and Design, State University of Malang, and also Benni Indo, who is a journalist at Harian Pagi Surya as well as the chairman of the Malang Independent Journalists Alliance.

 

This Webinar event starts at 13.00 WIB until 17.00 WIB. Start with the MC’s opening, then sing the Indonesia Raya song, followed by remarks. After that, proceed with the delivery of the first material. Before proceeding to the second material, a question and answer session was held to explore knowledge with the speaker, followed by ice breaking to stabilize the concentration level of webinar participants. The last event delivers the second material, followed by questions and answers.
