SEMEN (Mental Health Seminar) is an activity carried out by HMD German Literature. This activity was held on May 13, 2023. To gather German Literature students to discuss and share knowledge and information about mental health and its development. This activity occurred in the Ava Hall, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang. The German Literature Department Student Association management held a seminar with the theme “Finding meaning behind wounds to change life to be more meaningful.” This activity is a means of sharing knowledge about maintaining mental health. Because mental health is very influential in one’s life, this seminar is expected to inspire the importance of exploring the meaning behind wounds to make life more meaningful. In this seminar, the speakers provided opportunities for students to connect with their inner child and heal emotional wounds. This seminar activity is part of the work program of the management of the German Literature Department Student Association. This activity is expected to equip German Literature students to build a strong mentality and control their emotions in everyday life. Mental health is a critical issue at this time, and a healthy mentality can show that a person is in good condition. But a lousy mentality shows that someone is not okay and needs more attention.
