German Lecturers UM Trained Teachers to Improve Students’ Interactive Spirits during Online-Learning

The Lecturers of the State University of Malang (UM) provide training to teachers of SD Islam As-Salam Malang related to improving the interactive spirit of students during online learning. Head of the Training Program Drs. Tiksno Widyatmoko said that the activity entitled Virtual Interactive School for improving psychology and motoric skills is expected to be able to create learning facilities that can monitor the psychological and motoric skills of students of SD Islam As-Salam.
The lecturer of the German department was accompanied by the members of the program , Sunarti, S.Pd., MTCSOL, and Dr. Rizman Usman, M.Pd, as a lecturer in the German Language Education study program.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on teaching and learning activities. Face-to-face learning in normal times has now changed to online. This requires teachers to present appropriate methods in the pandemic era, so that the psychology of students does not experience pressure,” said Tiksno.
This training was also assisted by several S1 students of the Chinese Department, while the object of this training was aimed for 15 teachers of SD Islam As-salam. The training was conducted virtually using the zoom application some time ago. With this training, he hopes that the virtual school product can be used to create learning facilities that can monitor the psychological and motoric skills of students, especially SD Islam As-Salam. “In addition, I also really hope that teachers can adjust learning methods that are fun even in the pandemic era,” said the head of the program.
