The Um-Edu Top (Learning Mentorship) Workshop Batch 4, held on September 17, 2024, at State University of Malang, brought together students from the Department of Art and Design to explore the intersection of art, design, and health within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. The workshop aims to cultivate creative solutions that promote well-being and healthy living through innovative educational approaches.
The main objective of the event is to empower students to engage with Good Health and Well-Being through their academic and creative practices. By encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, the workshop will encourage participants to generate ideas that contribute to improving physical and mental health in society, by utilizing their skills in art and design. Mentorship sessions will guide students in the development of projects that address health challenges and promote sustainable lifestyles through visual expression and creative innovation.
Furthermore, the workshop aims to raise awareness of the important role of art and design in health promotion, inspiring future leaders to think critically and act as changemakers in their respective fields. At the end of the workshop, students will not only gain deeper insights into the global health agenda but also practical strategies to incorporate into their learning and professional development.
