COOPERATIVE STUDY OF HMPS PBA UIN SUNAN AMPEL SURABAYA WITH HMJ ARABIC LITERATURE UM

Malang. The Student Association of Arabic Literature Department (HMJ), Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang (UM) had guests from the Study Program Student Association (HMPS) for Arabic Language Education, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University (UINSA) Surabaya to hold a Cooperative Study event. This event is one of the implementation of the work program of the Division of Public Relations (Humas) HMJ Arabic Literature UM. This event was held at Mystic Coffee, Malang on Sunday (21/03/2021). It was attended by around 41 people consisting of the Daily Management Board (BPH) and Division Heads (Kadiv) who were in the student association while still using strict Covid-19 health protocols.

The event started with the dhuhur prayer in congregation, then continued with lunch together. After that, the event opened with a speech given by the chairman of the UM Arabic Literature HMJ, Arya Wahyu Pratama who was very enthusiastic about this activity and hoped that the relationship between UM and UINSA could be well established with this activity. “Hopefully this event can strengthen the relationship between the two majors from these two universities,” he said.

Followed by the second speech delivered by the Chairperson of the HMPS Arabic Language Education UIN Sunan Amel, Shavira Tasya Putri Oetomo who expressed many thanks for the welcome given by HMJ Arabic Literature UM. “Thank you for the welcome and the service you have provided. Hopefully this event can bring benefits to HMJ Arabic Literature UM and also to HMPS PBA UINSA, “he said.

The event continued with casual discussions about work programs and matters concerning the organization and study programs at each university. After that, it was continued with the handover of souvenirs between HMJ and HMPS Arabic Language Education UINSA represented by the chairmen. The event took place in a relaxed but serious and fun. The event was closed with the reading of a prayer together.

The hope of this event is to strengthen the relationship between UM and UINSA in general and bring good changes for the progress and glory of the Student Association.
