The goal of the event is to showcase the talents of new students while raising awareness about the importance of reducing disparities. At the department orientation event held at Precet Forest Park on September 14-15 2024, new students from the Dance and Music Education program appeared in front of the entire Department of Art and Design, State University of Malang. Her performance is a powerful reminder of the role of art in breaking down barriers and promoting equality across social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.

These students’ performances highlight the transformative power of the arts to challenge societal norms and create a more inclusive environment where everyone, no matter their background, has the opportunity to thrive. By highlighting the themes of unity and diversity, this performance underscores the importance of addressing inequalities both within the arts community and wider society.
