Departing from the development of art and culture in Indonesia, especially in Malang City, is nothing but always need a place to channel the existing arts and culture. One of them is theater arts. Its sustainability was reflected in the 26th Rainbow Theater production with the slogan “Departing from What Is, Nothing Made It Up, and Nothing Is” held by the Rainbow Theater on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Drama Laboratory, Faculty of Letters, University Malang Country. The activity was attended by students who are members of the rainbow theater which also aims to add insight into the theatrical knowledge of members of the rainbow theater which will then be implemented in every learning process in the rainbow theater. As well as for self-staging events in order to explore the talents and interests of members of the Rainbow Theater. In addition, this activity also always presents the values ​​of art appreciation by encouraging students, artists and culturalists to work more actively, creatively, innovatively, and productively in the performing arts field. This has resulted in an increase in the enthusiasm of the younger generation and the general public to appreciate art works, especially in the field of performances that are born by today’s artists. 

The activities are carried out from 08.00 am to 16.00 pm. Starting from the preparation of the actors and venues, rehearsals, live performances to closing and evaluation by the entire committee. The performing arts last for 2 hours from 13:45 pm to 15:45 pm. The theater arts activity seeks to regenerate and preserve arts, especially theatrical performing arts within the academic community. In addition, it is also useful for students so that they can become individuals who are sensitive to the dynamics of the arts, especially in the city of Malang.

The actors confidently show off their abilities in acting. Animating performances consciously impress the audience. The show succeeded in incarnating the slogan “Departing from what it is, not making it up, and not being what it is” which has the meaning of understanding and realizing our potential, the extent to which we are sensitive to events, how far we are able to grow up to face an event.
