The Faculty of Letters (FS) Malang State University New Student Welcome event, organized by the FS Student Executive Board (BEM), is an important moment in the university’s academic calendar. This activity is designed to welcome and introduce new students to the academic environment, culture, and community at the Faculty of Letters. The event, usually held at the beginning of the semester, is a vibrant mix of informative and fun activities, ensuring an engaging start to your academic journey.

The program begins with a warm welcome from the Dean of the Faculty of Letters and an introduction to the faculty’s structure, vision, and mission. Next, new students will get information about the available curriculum, facilities, and extracurricular activities. These introductory sessions are followed by ice-breaking activities designed to facilitate interaction between new students and seniors and strengthen relationships between faculty members.

Various workshops and seminars were organized to provide insights on academic skills, time management, and effective study strategies. The event also featured art performances from students who showcased their talents and created a festive atmosphere.

At the end of the event, there was a Q&A session where new students could ask questions and receive direct, supportive answers from BEM administrators and lecturers. This activity, a testament to our commitment to your success, aimed to build a sense of community and provide the necessary support to start your academic journey with confidence.
