Digital Innovation and Infrastructure for Cultural Preservation in Art and Design focuses on the importance of innovation in design and technology and the development of digital infrastructure to support cultural preservation, Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. In the era of globalization and digitalization, technology plays a vital role in documenting and promoting cultural heritage, making it more accessible and understandable to current and future generations.
Innovation in design and technology allows traditions rich in cultural values to be documented with precision and promoted through various digital platforms. Technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mobile applications have opened up new opportunities for cultural preservation, allowing traditions that were once only accessible locally to now be enjoyed by a global audience. The seminar also emphasized the importance of developing a strong digital infrastructure to support cultural preservation efforts.
A reliable digital infrastructure will ensure that cultural information and content can be stored, accessed, and disseminated easily and securely. This not only strengthens cultural preservation efforts, but also encourages the development of the creative industry, providing new opportunities for designers, artists, and entrepreneurs to innovate and create sustainable products and services.
