The 6th International Conference on Art, Design, Education, and Cultural Studies, organized by the Faculty of Letters, Department of Art & Design, Universitas Negeri Malang, carries the theme “Creative Synergy between Technology & Tradition in Art, Design, and Education”. The event, scheduled for July 25, 2024, aims to explore the integration of technology in art and design education. The conference is committed to reducing inequality in access to education by providing an inclusive platform for participants from various backgrounds.

By inviting international experts such as Prof. Dr. Badrul Isa from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia, ICA DECS 2024 creates an opportunity for academics, practitioners, and students to engage in discussions on the role of technology in addressing educational gaps. Discussions will cover how technology can facilitate access to quality education for those who may be underserved, such as marginalized communities and individuals with geographic or economic limitations.

By facilitating global dialogue and knowledge sharing, ICA DECS 2024 supports the achievement of more equitable and equitable education. The conference aims to ensure that the benefits of technology in art and design education are felt by all, thereby contributing to reducing inequality and increasing access to quality education.
