In April 2024, the Head of the Dance Education Program from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) and his team visited Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) to explore collaboration on training activities for Arts and Culture teachers. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of arts education with an emphasis on promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth and decent work for all.

The meeting at Universitas Negeri Malang focused on designing a training program that equips teachers with innovative teaching methods and creative techniques relevant to current job market demands. Arts and Culture teachers will be introduced to various pedagogical approaches that can help them create a dynamic learning environment and prepare students for the workforce. The program also includes training in the use of digital technology and new media in art education, which is expected to increase student engagement and enrich their learning experiences.

This collaboration aims to strengthen arts education while preparing students for decent employment opportunities in the future. By building synergy between UNNES and UM, the goal is to create a training program that not only directly benefits teachers and students but also contributes to the development of local culture and arts, supporting economic growth.
