Upgrading 2024: Unleashing Digital Age Innovations is an annual event organized by the English Literature Department Student Association (HMD Sastra Inggris) at Universitas Negeri Malang. This event is designed to equip students with relevant knowledge and skills in the digital era, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, a key part of our university’s mission.

Amid rapid technological advancements, education must continually adapt to produce competitive graduates in the global market. Upgrading 2024 is a platform for students to explore the latest innovations in the digital field that can be applied across various disciplines, including English literature.

The event will feature various engaging sessions, such as seminars, workshops, and panel discussions with experts in technology and education. Participants will gain in-depth insights into the latest digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital media, and how these technologies can be applied in literary and humanities studies.

Upgrading 2024 will include special sessions on developing digital skills, including digital content creation, media literacy, and using digital tools in academic research and writing. Participants are expected to enhance their practical skills through these sessions and prepare for future challenges.
