Aspirations of German Literature Students Through FORKOM 2024

Himpunan Mahasiswa Departemen Sastra Jerman (HMD Sasjer) held its annual Communication Forum/Forum Komunikasi (FORKOM) on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in AVA Hall Building D14, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang. The event, which took place from 13.00 to 15.00 WIB, was attended by the department chairman, secretary, HMD Sasjer coach, and Sasjer students class 2021-2023.

FORKOM aims to be a forum for communication regarding lectures, where students can submit suggestions, suggestions, questions, and complaints. In addition, information about campus scholarship programs was also conveyed. Although the event went smoothly, there was a slight obstacle in the attendance of participants, which was carried out at the end of the event due to lateness.

Feliza, the Chief Executive of FORKOM 2024, explained that the participants who were supposed to come at 12.30 WIB were late, so the attendance was done after the participants entered the room. Since late February, FORKOM has been prepared with teamwork to ensure the event went well.

FORKOM 2024 participants, such as Tania and Vicky Afrizal from the class of 2023, considered this a valuable event for asking lecturers about shortcomings in learning and improving lecture facilities. They hope that next year’s FORKOM will be better, with more participants attending and more active in interacting with lecturers.

Overall, FORKOM provides an opportunity for Sasjer students to express their aspirations, increase their knowledge, and improve the quality of learning in the Department of German Literature.
