The appearance of the packaging design, especially for traditional herbal products (stamina enhancers) produced by home industry products in the East Java region, has a uniqueness with a regional style combined with religious elements. The identity of this packaging design was later raised in the research conducted by Dr. Pujiyanto, M.Sn, Drs. Sarjono, M.Sn, Dr. Robby Hidayat, M.Sn, Andy Pramono, S.Kom, MT, Assoc. Prof. Ahamad Tarmizi Bin Azizan, Abdul Majid and Eri Febrian. The research used is descriptive qualitative research with an aesthetic approach. The research subject is the packaging design of traditional herbal products (stamina enhancers) produced by home industries in East Java, using data from observations, interviews, and documentation. The role of the researcher in conducting this research is as a non-participatory observer to collect data verbally and visually through packaging design. This study concludes that in packaging design, Islamic elements such as images, signs, values, symbols, and colors give trust and peace to the wearer, even in packaging design, without having to display halal pictographs. People believe that the products they consume are halal and are Islamically nutritious. Traditional herbs are products made by Habib or religious leaders so that their followers consume them, or people who are passionate of Islamic products, especially in East Java. There are fanaticism consumers who strongly believe that the products they buy are efficacious and efficacious. This design was made to support local start-ups (following the mission of sustainable development goals 1) to increase product attractiveness.
