The Arabic Literature Department Student Association of the Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang or abbreviated as HMD Arabic Literature FS UM, organizes a routine Thematic Study as a form of the work program. Ustadz Dr. Abdul Adzim, Lc, M.Pd, delivered the Thematic Study this time. For the first time, on March 18, 2023, this activity was carried out offline at the Al-Hikmah Mosque after previously being carried out online. This Thematic Study is open to all State University of Malang students. This activity aims to realize Islamic teachings in everyday life, especially individual students and social life.

Thematic Studies is a routine work program from HMD Arabic Literature in the form of Islamic studies related to specific themes. In 2023, Thematic Studies raised the theme “Welcoming Ramadan with Worship that comes to the forefront.” This event is to reduce students’ moral and faith degradation in this 5.0 era.

Ustadz Abdul Adzim delivered material related to the theme of the study. The material he presented was elementary to accept and understand by the students. His subtle and not monotonous delivery made this thematic study seem not dull. After the delivery of the material, a question and answer session was opened, and several students actively asked about the material presented.
