Learning and Students

SDG 10

Students of the State University of Malang, Chinese Language Education Study Program, have the opportunity to participate in this course, which provides a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their academic and cultural horizons and develop cross-cultural skills. Their participation in this program is expected to strengthen the relationship between the two universities and create closer collaboration in the future. The event was held at the Chinese Language Center, State University of Malang. The lecturer who presented this material was Sun Siyu from Guangxi Normal University.

The Chinese Comprehensive 3 course at the State University of Malang is designed to provide a solid foundation in Chinese for international students, especially beginners. The program introduces vocabulary, grammar, and relevant colloquial expressions and focuses on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Interactive teaching methods, such as group discussions, conversation simulations, and practical exercises, enable students to understand Chinese holistically. In addition, the multicultural learning environment supports students in practicing Chinese in authentic contexts, accelerating their ability to communicate effectively.

Hopefully, in the future, learning Chinese Comprehensive 3 at the State University of Malang can further improve students’ understanding of the basics of Mandarin as a whole, both in terms of grammar, vocabulary, and speaking and writing skills. With an interactive approach supported by a conducive learning environment, it is hoped that students will be able to master Chinese language skills more confidently and understand Chinese culture more deeply. In addition, hopefully, this course will also serve as a strong foundation for students to continue their language learning at a higher level.
