On October 18, 2024, the English Department Student Association (HMD) of State University of Malang organized English Art and Collaboration (EDA) in the C9 building. This activity aims to show student creativity in supporting the 4th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), which is to ensure inclusive, quality education, and support lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Through EDA, students are given the opportunity to express their creative ideas through various art mediums and cross-disciplinary collaborations. This goal is in line with the values of the 4th SDG which encourages the development of creative skills as part of quality education. Creativity is not only seen as a means of expression, but also as a tool to solve problems and encourage innovation in various fields.
In addition, EDA acts as a means to raise awareness of the importance of inclusive education that is able to facilitate the potential of every individual, regardless of social or economic background. By providing a space for students to showcase their talents, this activity helps build self-confidence, improve communication skills, and broaden academic and cultural horizons.
With the successful organization of EDA, HMD English State University of Malang affirms its commitment to support the growth of students’ creativity and skills as part of an inclusive and sustainable education process.
