SDG 9

In 2024, LEGATO (Learning Global Across The Nation) and HMP ESA FKIP University of Jember (UNEJ) will carry out a Student Exchange Collaboration aimed at encouraging innovation in education and developing future industrial capacity. This activity is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 9 which focuses on building resilient infrastructure, inclusive industrialization, and sustainable innovation.

Through this student exchange program, students from both institutions will participate in academic discussions, innovation workshops, and cross-disciplinary collaborations related to global challenges in technology, education, and industry. This program provides a space for students to develop creative ideas that can be applied in the development of educational infrastructure and technology development that supports sustainable industrialization.

This activity will also introduce students to the concept of technological innovation and industry 4.0 that is relevant in building an inclusive and sustainable economy. Through this collaboration, students will gain knowledge on how to create innovative solutions that can be applied in local and global contexts, and strengthen the role of education in shaping a generation of industry leaders who are ready to face future challenges.

With the collaboration between LEGATO and HMP ESA FKIP UNEJ, it is hoped that this collaboration can produce new innovations that not only have an impact on both institutions, but also make a positive contribution to the achievement of SDG 9 through improving educational infrastructure and sustainable technology development.
