THOUSANDS OF PARTICIPANTS JOINING THE TRAINING OF MAKING ANDROID AND GOOGLE SITE-BASED LEARNING MEDIA HELD BY THE TEAM OF LECTURERS OF  DEPARTMENT OF ARABIC LITERATURE, FACULTY OF LETTERS, STATE UNIVERSITY OF MALANG

Thousands of participants consisting of Arabic teachers from all over Indonesia have participated in the Training on Making Learning Media Based on Android and Google Sites held by a team of lecturers from the Department of Arabic Literature (DAL), Faculty of Literature (FL), Malang State University (UM). This training is in collaboration with Arabic MGMP forums throughout Indonesia. This training is carried out for 1 week, namely September 11-17, 2021.

The first day of activities, which coincided with Tuesday, September 11, 2021, was the opening and delivery of materials related to the Google Site and other relevant materials. The activity was carried out from 08.00-12.00 WIB. This activity is carried out online through the Zoom Meeting platform. There were 5 materials presented, namely: (1) Development of Socrative Arabic Learning Evaluation delivered by Ahmad Makki Hasan, M.Pd, (2) Making Learning Videos Using the Plotagon-Voki Application delivered by Ade Rahmad, S.Pd, ( 3) Making Arabic Learning Media With Quiziz delivered by Dr. Hanik Mahliatussikah, M.Hum, (4) Making Arabic Learning Media for Children Based on Google Sites delivered by Dr. Moch. Wahib Dariyadi, M.Pd, and (5) Making Arabic Learning Videos Using Screencast-O-Matic Application delivered by Moh. Fauzan., S.P.d., M.Pd.I. the first two speakers, namely: Ahmad Makki Hasan, M.Pd and Ade Rahmad, S.Pd are the central administrators of the Arabic language MGMP throughout Indonesia. While the next three presenters, namely: Dr. Hanik Mahliatussikah, M. Hum, Dr. Moch. Wahib Dariyadi, M.Pd and Moh. Fauzan., S.P.d., M.Pd.I is the team implementing this training from DAL FL UM.

The next stage is the work of structured tasks by the participants as a follow-up to the delivery of the material on the first day. The details of the activities carried out by participants after the delivery of the material are as follows. September 12, 2021 introduction and introduction to Google Site and Google Site Tools. On September 13, 2021, uploading learning materials, listening to the syllabus, giving assignments, giving announcements, and downloading and viewing student assignments. September 14, 2021 management admin and menu. September 15, 2021 management templates and media-based content in schools. September 16, 2021 editing animation and Arabic text. September 17, 2021 embed video, text, pdf, and publish.

This activity was warmly welcomed by the participants. It is proven that a total of 1,435 participants took part in this activity. The majority of the participants are members of the Arabic language MGMP throughout Indonesia where the members are spread from all parts of Indonesia plus also from observers and lovers of the Arabic language. The participants were very enthusiastic about this activity. They also welcome this activity and hope that this kind of activity will continue.
