Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) proudly hosts Lokovasia 2024, an event that embodies the spirit of collaboration and the preservation of Nusantara music. Focusing on which aims to reduce inequality, this event is committed to providing equal access and opportunities for all musicians, regardless of their social, cultural, or economic background.

Lokovasia 2024 serves as a platform where musicians from across Indonesia, including local communities and underrepresented groups, can come together and collaborate. Through workshops, concerts, and panel discussions, these musicians are given the stage to showcase their work and engage in dialogue about the importance of equality in the music industry. In this way, UM not only supports the preservation of traditional music but also promotes inclusivity across the entire spectrum of the music scene.

The event seeks to reduce the gap in access to artistic platforms by providing opportunities for young musicians and marginalized groups to promote their talents. Through this inclusive approach, UM aims to create a music environment that embraces diversity and welcomes all elements of society, ensuring that every voice is valued and recognized.
