The purpose of this business risk management training is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to address economic disparities and drive inclusive growth in the creative industry. Held at Graha Rektorat, 9th Floor, Universitas Negeri Malang on Thursday, September 1, 2024, this event was attended by students from the Dance and Music Education program. The training focused on managing business risks in a way that ensures equal opportunities, reduces income inequality, and supports marginalized groups in the creative sector.
The training aims to provide practical tools that identify and mitigate risks that disproportionately affect vulnerable individuals and communities in the creative industry. Participants are encouraged to think about how their business practices can foster inclusivity and offer fair opportunities for artists from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. By addressing these risks, students can develop businesses that contribute to reducing disparities, creating a more equitable and sustainable industry.
By emphasizing the session, it encourages students to reflect on how their future businesses can break down barriers and provide equal access to resources, ensuring that all individuals have the opportunity to succeed. The initiative reinforces the university’s commitment to promoting social justice and inclusivity through education, preparing students to become leaders in building creative businesses that not only thrive economically but also actively reduce disparities in society.
