The Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar and the State University of Malang (UM) have collaborated to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the UM Fine Arts Education Study Program. This collaboration exploration activity was carried out on Thursday, July 27 2024 at the ISI Denpasar Bali Community Service Research Institute and Educational Development (LP2MPP).

This collaboration aims to improve the quality of fine arts education at UM, especially in the fields of research, community service and educational development. Both parties agreed to exchange information and expertise, conduct joint research, and organize community service activities and educational development.

It is hoped that this collaboration can produce works of art that are of high quality and beneficial to society. This collaboration is a strategic step to increase UM’s competitiveness in the international arena. UM is committed to becoming a university with an international reputation, and this collaboration is a form of that commitment.

This collaboration exploration activity was attended by top officials from ISI Denpasar and UM, as well as lecturers and students from both institutions. On this occasion, both parties also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a sign of commitment to establishing cooperation.

This collaboration exploration activity is the first step for ISI Denpasar and UM to work together in realizing the SDGs. Both parties believe that this collaboration will produce works of art that are beneficial to society and contribute to achieving the SDGs.
