Indonesian Literature Department Student Association of State University of Malang Successfully Collects Donations for “Bakti Literasi”

The Indonesian Literature Department Student Association (HMD) of Malang State University has achieved a very proud achievement through their donation activities for the event “Bakti Literasi.” To increase interest in reading and support literacy among the community, HMD Sastra Indonesia collected donations of Rp1,474,000 and 38 books. 

This activity not only shows HMD’s concern for the development of literacy but also illustrates their commitment to contributing to improving the quality of education. The donations collected will be used to purchase quality reading books and other educational aids, which will later be distributed to various academic institutions and communities in need. In addition, the 38 books collected will also be distributed directly to readers who lack access to literacy.

This success is inseparable from the support and active participation of all HMD Sastra Indonesia members and cooperation with various parties. “Bakti Literasi is not just a donation event but also a manifestation of the enthusiasm of Indonesian Literature students for fighting for education and literacy in the country. This achievement is a significant first step in realizing HMD Sastra Indonesia’s vision to impact society positively through sustainable literacy activities.
