On March 2-3 2024, HMD SEDESA held an activity entitled “Socialization of AD/ART and Transparency of HMD SEDESA 2024”. Which aims to strengthen institutions through increasing transparency and accountability in organizational management, in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. SDG 16 emphasizes the importance of creating transparent, accountable and inclusive institutions to achieve sustainable peace and justice. In order to support this goal, activities will begin with the submission of the organization’s Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART). 

This is an important step to ensure that all members understand the basic rules that govern the organization’s operations, which are the foundation of transparency and accountability. Furthermore, the presentation of the work program for each division will provide a comprehensive overview of the plans and objectives of each division.

In this way, organizational members can better understand work priorities and contribute effectively to achieving common goals. To improve coordination and communication between divisions, which are essential in building strong institutions. The transparency workshop will be the core of the activity, where participants will be given training on the importance of information disclosure and accountability in every aspect of organizational activities. This workshop will teach best practices in terms of transparency, such as honest financial reporting, open program evaluation, and member feedback mechanisms. Through this training, it is hoped that HMD SEDESA members can implement the principles of transparency in their daily operations, thereby creating a more open and trustworthy environment. With this activity, HMD SEDESA is committed to building stronger and more transparent institutions through understanding and implementing the principles of SDG 16. It is hoped that HMD SEDESA can become an example for other organizations in terms of transparency and accountability.
