The Welfare Division is a unit within the English Literature Student Association established by the English Department at the Faculty of Letters for 2024. This unit focuses on improving student welfare through various programs and activities that provide emotional, social, and academic support and create an environment conducive to students’ academic and personal development.
The Welfare Division was established to improve English Literature students’ welfare and quality of life through various programs that provide emotional, social, and academic support. The division is committed to creating an environment conducive to students’ academic and personal development so that they can reach their full potential in a harmonious and inclusive atmosphere. This initiative is also aligned with Sustainable Development Goals to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages, focusing on supporting students’ mental health and social well-being.
On April 30, 2024, the Department of English Literature at the Faculty of Letters proudly announced the formation of the English Literature Student Association Welfare Division for the 2024 period. The Welfare Division was formed as part of a collective effort to improve student welfare and quality of life within the department. The Welfare Division aims to create an environment conducive to English Literature students’ academic and personal development. With various programs and activities, the division is committed to providing emotional, social, and educational support for all members. The main goal of the Welfare Division is to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential. With a spirit of togetherness and caring, the Welfare Division strives to build a harmonious and inclusive community where everyone can thrive and contribute positively. With this announcement, the Department of English invites all students to participate actively in activities organized by the Welfare Division. Active participation is expected to create a healthier and more prosperous academic environment and encourage creating a student community that supports each other and strengthens social relationships. The faculty also hopes that with the Welfare Division, students will experience a significant improvement in their quality of life and well-being, which will ultimately positively impact their academic performance and personal development.
