“Bakti Literasi” Opens Donation for Literacy Corner Creation

To support the improvement of student literacy at YPBK Sitiarjo Junior High School, Malang Regency, HMD Sastra Indonesia of the State University of Malang held Bakti Literasi with book and cash donation sub-activities from June 15 to July 19. This activity aims to provide broader access to quality reading materials.

Book donations received include fiction and nonfiction books that are relevant and inspiring for junior high school students to awaken their imagination and increase their understanding of various aspects of life. Each donated book will be a valuable source of new knowledge for students’ intellectual development.

In addition to book donations, cash donations are urgently needed to expand the literacy program at SMP YPBK Sitiarjo. The funds raised will be used to organize literacy activities such as writing workshops and procuring a literacy corner at the school to enrich the book collection and create a more dynamic learning environment.

Donors can send books and cash donations through the designated collection center or make a transfer to the account provided. The information can be accessed through the @sasindoum Instagram account. All forms of your participation will significantly impact the interest in reading and literacy of YPBK Sitiarjo Junior High School students.
