In a bold move towards advocacy and awareness, students from the Faculty of Letters have crafted a compelling digital poster aimed at promoting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages. Specifically, the poster tackles the critical issue of preventing the normalization of violence as a form of parenting by parents toward their children.

The creation of this digital poster marks a significant step in addressing a pervasive yet often overlooked aspect of parenting dynamics – the normalization of violence. Rooted in cultural norms and societal expectations and usually perpetuated through intergenerational cycles, this form of parenting can have profound and detrimental effects on the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of children.

Through innovative digital media, the students have crafted a visually striking poster that captures attention and provokes reflection. The poster utilizes impactful imagery and concise messaging to convey the importance of breaking the cycle of violence in parenting practices.
