On 29th April 2024, Self Access Center (SAC) Germany organized a screening of “Operation Valkyrie” at the mini theater on the 8th floor of building A20. The event began with a brief introduction to the historical background of the film, which tells the story of German officers’ efforts to overthrow the Nazi regime. After the screening, participants engaged in a discussion about the film’s relevance to modern struggles for equality, justice, and social inclusion. The discussion focused on how addressing inequalities in society is crucial for building inclusive communities where all individuals have equal rights and opportunities, regardless of their background.
Through this event, SAC Germany sought to inspire action towards reducing inequality, promoting the importance of standing up against oppressive systems, and fostering a more equitable society.
