Technology Innovation for the Future: Upgrading Students to Support Industry and Sustainable Innovation

SDG 9

On May 25, the English Department Student Association of State University of Malang organized an *Upgrading* activity which aims to increase student awareness and insight regarding technological developments. This activity was attended by all Malang State University students and was designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the importance of technological innovation in academic and professional life.

The event was also geared towards supporting the 9th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goal, namely “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure”. SDG 9 emphasizes the importance of building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive industrialization, and supporting technological innovation. Through this activity, students are invited to understand their role in encouraging technological innovation that is sustainable and relevant to global industrial development. 

By participating in this Upgrading, participants are expected to not only be able to improve their technological insights, but also be ready to contribute to the development of a more advanced and inclusive technological infrastructure in the future.
