Upgrading: *The Business Schemes for Gen Z* is an event organized by the Faculty of Letters, Universitas Negeri Malang, on May 14. This event is designed to equip young people, especially Gen Z, with the knowledge and skills needed to participate in the global economy through business innovation and entrepreneurship, in alignment with SDG 8: *Decent Work and Economic Growth*.

The event aims to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth through entrepreneurship and job creation. In an increasingly digitalized world, Gen Z has great potential to develop technology-based businesses and innovations. *Upgrading* features seminars, workshops, and panel discussions led by business experts, successful entrepreneurs, and industry professionals.

Participants will be introduced to various business schemes relevant to today’s market needs, including strategies for starting a business, managing finances, utilizing technology, and creating decent and productive employment opportunities. The event also offers participants the chance to network and exchange ideas with industry leaders and fellow young entrepreneurs.

Through *Upgrading*, the Faculty of Letters at Universitas Negeri Malang is committed to supporting sustainable economic growth and the creation of decent work. This event is expected to inspire the younger generation to be part of global solutions by developing businesses that are not only financially successful but also contribute to inclusive economic growth in line with SDG 8.
