Student Exchange : LEGATO and HMP ESA FKIP UNEJ to Promote Global Peace and Justice

In 2024, LEGATO (Learning Global Across The Nation) and HMP ESA FKIP Universitas Jember (UNEJ) will implement a Student Exchange Collaboration with a focus on strengthening peace, justice, and strong institutions, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 16. This activity aims to build international cooperation that supports the principles of social justice, security, and good governance.

The student exchange program will give participants from both institutions the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions on human rights, transparent governance, and strong institution building. Through various sessions such as workshops, debates, and case studies, students will explore important issues related to social justice, anti-corruption, and community participation in governance processes.

Participants will also engage in collaborative projects aimed at creating innovative solutions to challenges faced in government systems and society. This activity is designed to enhance students’ understanding and skills in developing community-based solutions that support peace and social justice.

With the collaboration between LEGATO and HMP ESA FKIP UNEJ, students are expected to build a strong international network and commit to advancing the principles of SDG 16. The program aims to promote justice, security, and good governance, and equip participants with the skills and knowledge to contribute to a more just and peaceful global society.
