The purpose of this event is to provide a platform for new students to showcase their unique talents and abilities while fostering a sense of community  in the Department of Art and Design, State University of Malang. A male new student from the Dance and Music Education program performs on stage during the department’s orientation program, held at Precet Forest Park from September 14 to 15, 2024. In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Good Health and Well-Being. 

This performance aims to inspire a holistic understanding of the relationship between the arts and mental well-being. The event highlights the importance of physical and mental health in the context of education, using the medium of artistic expression to enhance emotional resilience and community well-being. The student performance, held amidst the natural environment of Precet Forest Park, emphasizes the importance of art as a tool for nurturing personal and collective well-being. 

The event also aims to foster collaboration and understanding among students from various arts disciplines, underscoring the department’s commitment to holistic, embracing education as part of its academic mission. The initiative not only celebrates the artistic talents of these students, but also reaffirms the important role of arts and culture in achieving broader health and well-being goals in the educational environment.
