The International Conference on Art, Design, Education, and Cultural Studies (ICA DECS) 2024 held by Universitas Negeri Malang with the theme “Creative Synergy between Technology & Tradition, Design and Education” provides significant contributions to Peace, Justice, and Resilient Institutions. With a focus on cultural preservation, this event promotes the development of a more inclusive and peaceful society through the integration of technology and tradition.

In this seminar, one of the main speakers, Dr. Muchammad Bayu Tejo Sampurno from UniversitasPendidikan Sultan Idris, Malaysia, will discuss how technology can be utilized to document and promote cultural heritage. This effort not only keeps cultural heritage alive, but also ensures that these values ​​can be accessed and appreciated by future generations. The use of technology in cultural preservation has the potential to reduce social conflicts that are often caused by a lack of understanding or neglect of local cultural heritage.

In addition, this conference strengthens the role of educational and academic institutions in strengthening social justice by providing a platform for various perspectives to be discussed and appreciated. Thus, ICA DECS 2024 serves as a bridge connecting technology and tradition, and fosters deeper dialogue and understanding, ultimately contributing to the development of a more harmonious and equitable society.
