From July 21 to 24, 2024, students of the Department of Indonesian Literature, State University of Malang, enthusiastically participated in the Regional Student Art Week held at Surabaya State University (UNESA). This activity is essential for them to hone and explore their artistic abilities through various competitions and performances.

To improve their skills in the arts, students of the Department of Indonesian Literature participated in various competitions such as serpent writing competitions, poetry writing, and playwriting. They showcase their creativity and talent through in-depth literary works and original artistic interpretations. Thorough preparation and intense training ensure they perform best in every competition they participate in.

In addition, participation in the Regional Student Art Week is not only about competition but also about the valuable experience of collaborating and exchanging ideas with art students from various universities in East Java. It is an opportunity to expand the network and get inspiration from different art perspectives.

The lecturers and staff of the Department of Indonesian Literature, State University of Malang, have been instrumental in fostering the students’ enthusiasm and achievements in the arts. These students, who are not only a representation of the artistic talents on campus but also ambassadors who carry the good name of the university, have made us all proud in this regional art competition.

The participation of Indonesian Literature Department students in the Regional Student Art Week at UNESA was not just a competition event, but a journey of deep learning and self-development in the realm of art. Their growth and achievements are a testament to their dedication and the support they received.
