SDG 4

Gelang Wedar Gelang Tridatu Custom Names and Initials is a creative initiative from students of the Department of Indonesian Literature, State University of Malang, led by Ade Kurniawan. This business is not only about providing custom bracelets with names or initials but also has a deeper purpose, namely developing an entrepreneurial spirit among students and introducing culture creatively and interestingly.

Each bracelet produced is not only an accessory, but also a profound manifestation of local wisdom values. Wedar bracelets use the distinctive Tridatu material, a unique combination of three types of stones: white, black, and red, symbolizing the tri darma of higher education: education, research, and community service. In addition, each bracelet is custom-made by adding a name or initials chosen by the buyer, making it unique and personalized.

The resounding success of Gelang Wedar Gelang Tridatu Custom Nama dan Inisial in securing funding at the prestigious CAGARA Entrepreneur Fest 2024 is a testament to the seriousness and business potential of these students. The funding not only provides capital to grow their businesses, but also recognizes their creative ideas and success in applying their academic knowledge to the real world.

As such, the venture is not just for profit but also to educate and inspire the younger generation on the importance of developing creativity and entrepreneurship in a culture rich in traditional values. The Wedar bracelet symbolizes the fusion of local wisdom and entrepreneurial spirit expected to impact the community and the surrounding environment positively.
