Implementation of Agreement between the Arabic Language Education Study Program of Universitas Negeri Malang and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Bandung
Parapat, July 12, 2024 – The Arabic Language Education Study Program of Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) proudly announces the implementation of a cooperation agreement with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Bandung. The signing ceremony took place at the Rectorate Hall of Universitas Negeri Malang and was attended by leaders, lecturers, and students from both universities.
This cooperation aims to enhance the quality of education and research in the field of Arabic Language Education through collaboration in various academic and non-academic activities. The main points of the agreement include:
- Student and Faculty Exchange: The student and faculty exchange program will provide opportunities for both parties to learn and teach in different environments, thereby broadening their perspectives and experiences.
- Joint Research Activities: Both study programs will conduct joint research to increase the quality and quantity of scientific publications in the field of Arabic Language Education.
- Curriculum Development: This cooperation also includes the development of a joint curriculum that meets the needs of the times and technological advancements in education.
- Seminars and Workshops: Both universities will regularly hold seminars and workshops involving experts in the field of Arabic Language Education to discuss current issues and share knowledge.
In his speech, the Head of Arabic Department, Dr. Mohammad Ahsanuddin, M.Pd., stated, “This cooperation is a strategic step to improve the quality of education and research at both institutions. We hope that through this collaboration, both UM and UPI can produce competent graduates who are ready to compete at the national and international levels.”
Similarly, the Head of Arabic Departement Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Bandung, Prof. Dr. Zaka, M.A., expressed, “This cooperation is a manifestation of our commitment to continuously improve the quality of education in Indonesia. We are very enthusiastic about the various activities that will be carried out together and believe that this collaboration will bring great benefits to both parties.”
The signing ceremony concluded with a group photo session and a friendly gathering among the leaders, lecturers, and students from both universities. Both parties hope that this cooperation will run smoothly and have a positive impact on the development of Arabic Language Education in Indonesia.
