HMD Arabic Literature 2024’s Ramadan Alms: Knitting Love, Stringing Love in the Noble Month

HMD Arabic Literature, State University of Malang (UM) held a Ramadan Almsgiving (SEBUL) activity on Saturday (23/4/2024) at the Sunan Ampel Orphanage, Malang City. Carrying the theme “Knitting Love, Weaving Love, in the Noble Month”, SEBUL 2024 aims to share happiness and affection with orphaned children in the month of Ramadan.
This activity began with an opening, reading of the holy Koran, welcoming speeches from various parties, and handing over souvenirs and donations. The event was enlivened with ice breaking, games and breaking the fast together.
The chief organizer of SEBUL 2024, M. Falqi Fariz Fauzie, expressed his thanks to the orphanage and apologized for any shortcomings in organizing the event. He hopes that SEBUL 2024 can provide benefits and happiness for orphans, as well as strengthen ties of brotherhood and increase social awareness.
General Chairperson of HMD Arabic Literature 2024, Reinanda Wizarotul Khasanah, stated that SEBUL is an annual work program of HMD Arabic Literature UM to help orphaned children. He hopes that this sharing activity can continue to be carried out in the future.
The head of the Sunan Ampel orphanage, Mrs. Hj. Raudlatul Jannah, appreciates the SEBUL 2024 activities and hopes that this spirit of kindness and caring can continue to be maintained.
The SEBUL 2024 activity is a concrete manifestation of UM Arabic Literature HMD’s concern for others in the month of Ramadan. Hopefully this spirit of sharing and caring can inspire us all to always do good and create a better world.
