Promoting Responsible Production and Responsible Consumption
On March 28, 2024, Dragonball will host the “Ngabubuart 2” event, an initiative that not only invites students to break their fast together, but also aims to use eco-friendly materials and encourage recycling practices in the tying workshop, thereby reducing waste and supporting responsible production.
Ngabubuart 2’s tying workshop is designed to utilize the creativity of the materials provided, such as various beads and threads. Participants are invited to learn techniques that go beyond creative patterning and colors.
In addition, the practices in this workshop educated participants on the importance of reducing overconsumption and choosing environmentally friendly products. This is in line with the encouraging principles of ensuring sustainable use of natural resources, reducing waste, and promoting a sustainable life cycle.
Ngabubuart 2 also provided a platform to promote eco-friendly handicraft products made by local artisans. This not only supports the local economy but also educates the public on the importance of choosing products that have a positive impact on the environment.
Thus, this event is not only a celebration of culture and togetherness in breaking the fast, but also a concrete step to support the change towards more responsible consumption and production patterns. We invite everyone to join Ngabubuart 2 at Dragonball, strengthen our commitment to sustainability, and together create a better future for our planet.
